Weekly Writing April 11- 15

A. The universal sign of choking is when someone clenches their throat with both hands and are coughing or not breathing.
B.Lay the infant on your lap for support and along down your forearm and use two fingers to hold its mouth open then with your hand hit gently on the back of the child right between the shoulder blades.
C.If an older child or adult is choking you must wrap your arms around them just under their chest and squeeze tightly then release and do that until whatever is in their throat is out of it.
