Discipline Techniques

I think that in discipline terms you need to be firm handed on a loose chain when it comes to your kids. You need to set boundaries like have a curfew of midnight and tell them if they are going to be late they need to call and if they do not then they need to be punished. You need to let your kids think for themselves in many situations unless they are very bad decisions you need to help them. You need to be there to guide them not control them. In some cases you need to let the kid find out what will happen if bad decisions are made. I think the techniques on parenting is needs to meet somewhere in the middle of strict to doing little to nothing on guiding your kids.
